Delivery Driver – 2nd shift/part time

Department: Delivery
Reports To: Driver Manager
Full/PartTime: Part Time
Hours: Part-time, approximately 2-3 days per week, hours vary – must be flexible to work days and/or evenings
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Drives company vehicle to deliver customer prescriptions and other associated supplies to individuals’ residence or facilities.
  • Responsible for establishing route and preparing route delivery log.
  • Responsible for accurate record keeping of delivery logs and delivery transactions.
  • Ensures that delivery transactions are accurately recorded on customer receipt.
  • Secures necessary information for required paperwork to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Interacts with customers in a profession manner while communicating customers’ concerns / issues to appropriate staff.
  • Aids in receiving, labeling and stocking products for the pharmacies and the retail store.
  • Responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment by mail or UPS.
  • Responsible for maintaining company vehicles in proper working order, including maintenance, notifying appropriate individual when problems arise or repairs are needed.
  • Responsible for backing up clerk on POS system for deliveries.
  • Brings daily deposit to bank.
  • Brings mail to post office.
  • May pick up supplies for the business.
  • Performs other miscellaneous activities as requested.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Experience Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Green Bay area and previous delivery experience is recommended.

Skills

  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Must have some computer knowledge.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.

Work Environment: This position is usually exposed to normal indoor working conditions; ability to stand for extended periods of time is required. Exposure to certain drugs may cause a potential for harmful effects and some individuals may not handle these drugs or gloves must be worn. A listing of potential hazards is available in the pharmacy and should be viewed before beginning any job.
